Sustainability and environmental protection

Our malthouse consumes an enormous amount of water due to production, cleaning and disinfection after each batch. The environmentally friendly handling of raw materials and resources is part of our philosophy, which is why we decided to build our own waterworks. The massive water tank holds 120 m³, weighs over 10 tonnes and will soon supply our malthouse in Bischheim with a constant inflow. The delivery of the tank could only be carried out at night, as it was delivered in one piece by heavy transport. Complex cleaning mechanisms through various filtration systems and a subsequent disinfection of the water enable us to drastically reduce water consumption. We expect the commissioning towards the end of the year.
